Background
Kawayan Folk Arts is a Bay Area-based non-profit whose mission is to promote, research, and explore folk and contemporary performing arts based on the rich cultural heritage of the Philippines. Kadiliman is its 4th theatrical production, based on a Philippine myth of the conflicts and love between the sun and moon, who are siblings. It was performed at Montgomery Theatre in San Jose.
