Background
SanDisk is an industry leader in flash storage solutions in the form of memory cards and solid state drives (SSD) present in many consumer electronics and enterprise hardware. For the company's first product to offer wireless storage and streaming, the retail package needed to be new and different from its past offerings.

  • Codename was "Scotti" at the time
  • Request for a modern look-and-feel different from the default SanDisk packaging
Approach
  • For a package that does not show the product inside, display the product image at 100% scale
  • Propose a variety of looks, from futuristic to relevant use cases
  • Option to display product features to explain the new product
